Le projet rinoceros n’a pas disparu, il continue de vivre pour valoriser les points de vue des acteurs associatifs dans le monde dans le site Ritimo.

Center for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA)

Created in 1999, the Center for Human Rights and Environment (CEDHA) is a non-profit organization based in Argentina which aims to build a more harmonious relationship between the environment and people. Its work centers on promoting greater access to justice and guaranteeing human rights for victims of environmental degradation or non-sustainable management of natural resources and preventing future violations. To this end, CEDHA fosters the creation of inclusive public policy that promotes socially and environmentally sustainable development, through community participation, public interest litigation, strengthening democratic institutions, and the capacity building of key actors. The group’s work includes advocacy, research and publications and capacity building. Current focuses include ‘The Human Right to Water’ and International Financial Institutions. International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED)

Created in 1971, the International Institute for Environment and Development (IIED) is an international policy research institute and non governmental body working for more sustainable and equitable global development. Based in London, the IIED work globally through a wide range of long-standing relationships with partners across the developing world.

Their partnerships generate close working relations with many key development actors from smallholder farmers and big city slum-dwellers to national governments and regional NGOs, global institutions and international processes. The IIED acts as a catalyst, broker and facilitator and helps vulnerable groups find their voice and ensure their interests are heard in decision-making. Environmental sustainability is a core concern but not at the expense of people’s livelihoods.
