KOSA is a German pool of groups and individuals that are involved and interested in the development of Sothern Africa. Since August 2001 the organization is the successor organization of Afrika-Süd Aktionsbündnis, a former Anti-Apartheid movement.

Since a few years KOSA focuses on the economic relations between Southern Africa and the European Union. KOSA supports actively the International Apartheid Debt and Reperations Campaign) and is part of the European Network for Information and Action on Southern Africa. Since 2002 the supply of drinking water in Southern Africa is also a central area or occupation.
