AFRODAD, The African Forum and Network on Debt and Development, is a regional civil society organisation which seeks to secure lasting solutions to Africa’s mounting debt problem. The organization works through research, lobbying and advocacy organisation in order to secure positive policy changes to redress Africa’s debt and development crisis and subsequently to achieve equitable and sustainable development. Its secretariat is based in Harare, Zimbabwe and the group has affiliates/debt coalition partners in ten African countries.

AIDC works through research, information production, dissemination, popular education, campaigning and coalition building. Its main focus areas are Unemployment and the Right to Work, Debt, Privatisation and Delivery of Social Services, Globalisation and Trade. It also produces a magazine called ‘Alternatives’, which can be accessed through the website.

International South Group Network began in 1994 and represents a global South-South network of individuals, social movements and centers of research and learning. The network is engaged in thematic campaigns on issues such as debt and Jubilee, trade and the WTO, land and food security, environment, women and gender, corruption and governance, and most recently, war and militarism. It works through advocacy, dissemination of analysis, the promotion of people’s on-the-ground struggles, research and workshops.
