The Tax Justice Network (TJN) is a non-aligned coalition of researchers and activists with a shared concern about the harmful impacts of tax avoidance, tax competition and tax havens. The TJN campaigns to identify and remedy the deficiencies of national and international tax policy frameworks and to support the activities of existing campaigns in different countries by connecting them to a worldwide movement. In particular it aims to promote more local campaigns for tax justice, especially in developing countries; provide a medium through which tax justice issues can be promoted within multilateral agencies such as the United Nations, the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Organisation for Economic Cooperation & Development, and the European Union.
