Le projet rinoceros n’a pas disparu, il continue de vivre pour valoriser les points de vue des acteurs associatifs dans le monde dans le site Ritimo.
Child Rights Information Network (CRIN)
The Child Rights Information Network (CRIN) is a global network that disseminates information about the Convention on the Rights of the Child and child rights amongst non-governmental organisations (NGOs), United Nations agencies, inter-governmental organisation (IGOs), educational institutions, and other child rights experts.
Established in 1995, CRIN is a global information network. It has a membership of more than 1,700 organisations in over 140 countries. About 85 percent of its members are NGOs and 65 percent are in the Africa, Asia and Latin America. Its current strategic goal for the next three years is to become a stronger and more influential voice for the promotion of children’s rights. This involves :
- taking a more proactive approach to information management to encourage and fuel advocacy activities
- focusing on « neglected » and « new and emerging » children’s rights issues
- developing a more explicit focus on key audiences, identified by their ability to achieve greater recognition of children’s rights
