The Child Rights Information Network (CRIN) is a global network that disseminates information about the Convention on the Rights of the Child and child rights amongst non-governmental organisations (NGOs), United Nations agencies, inter-governmental organisation (IGOs), educational institutions, and other child rights experts.
Established in 1995, CRIN is a global information network. It has a membership of more than 1,700 organisations in over 140 countries. About 85 percent of its members are NGOs and 65 percent are in the Africa, Asia and Latin America. Its current strategic goal for the next three years is to become a stronger and more influential voice for the promotion of children’s rights. This involves :
